Wisdom, the Bible records, is the principal thing (Proverbs 4:7). So, whenever and wherever I find myself, I pick wisdom from everything that plays around me.
The Lord laid the earth’s foundations with wisdom’s blueprints. By his living-understanding all the universe came into being.
Proverbs 3:19 TPT
The creations were made by the Word of God and not from any existing physical material (Hebrews 11:3). The Word of God is also the wisdom of God. And if the wisdom of God birthed the creations, then there is a wisdom to learn even from the surroundings.
Recently, I went for an event and in silence, observed everyone and everything, for the sole purpose of learning something. I couldn’t help but notice how some of the people lose guard of themselves in excitement and as such spoke as they pleased without caution, forgetting that they were in a public space – with strangers.
The spiritually mature and physically wise individual won’t lose sense of focus and coordination. They are always conscious of themselves at all times and as such they never lose guard but comport themselves rightly, always.
Even if I want to enjoy myself, I don’t do so in mediocrity because a structure of excellence is working in me and that is a proof that I can produce excellent results.
The Lord said to me that some people will hear wise things and still end up being foolish. Some people even get overwhelmed by wise things while some others may get frustrated because wise things seem too hard for them to comprehend.
The process of learning wisdom and building a structure of it is a gradual process of consistent learning, not an automatic one. In the school of wisdom, it might take you years to grow pass a certain level, depending on how yielded you are which is a product of your trust level for your source.
By this, there’s hope for the unwise if and only if he will be consistent to learn and never give up on the seemingly difficult process of wisdom. Until he begins to walk wisely and maturely, he may not get better results for his work and could just be wasting energy, time and resources, achieving nothing.
This explains why when we find naturally wise men come into a team, we quickly incorporate them to become major team players, even when they are not as spiritual as the others. Reason being that they have a structure that can foster and protect growth while we attach them with someone who is spiritually grown to cover up the spiritual areas and pray for them to grow in the faith.
Never take wisdom lightly; it beautifies your life. It’s true that it may not be an easy task to deal with your unwise programming, but if only you won’t give up on a wise process, there’s even greater hope to manifest wisdom in all you do.
