While in deep fellowship with the Lord today, I asked why many believers are so carried away with this world that divine things seem to be of less importance to them. He said that it’s because they are carnal and don’t truly have fellowship with light.
Suddenly, He took me out of my body and made me see the vanity of wealth and the hustle of men in validating my conviction. When I came back to my body, I started sharing the little funds in my wallet for the poor street hawkers and security men more than I did before the revelation. Many of them were dazzled by this gesture.
It ought to have been a normal practice amongst people (especially believers) but now it seems abnormal to give people money without having rendered any goods or services. Doing good is the character and nature of God.
This world and its desires are in the process of passing away, but those who love to do the will of God live forever.
1 John 2:17 TPT
Lose value to earth and focus on eternity but work hard to be relevant and be your best. Whether you like it or not, whether or not you believe it, this earth is only temporal and will fade away someday, but eternity is forever and has no comparison.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 KJV
Every believer seem to have memorized the above Bible verse that they no longer get blessed of it anymore because they’ve become too familiar with it.
The quicker you receive the life of Christ by reason of His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead, and give your life to Him in service, the better for you. Your life only begins to make sense before God when you do.
It is appalling that many persons who even preach this subject don’t heartily believe this truth from a place of unshakable conviction. Knowing the message is not as important as living the message.
Unbelievers can’t give their life to God; they receive salvation by faith, but believers are requested to give their life as a living sacrifice—as an object of their worship to God.
Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.
Romans 12:1 TPT
Don’t let this world fold up and all you get to hear Jesus say is, “Depart from me you worker of iniquity”(Luke 13:27). Truly love Jesus and live for Him.
