No, it’s not! Are you surprised? Of course, you are! No Bible portion says it is sacred. See, we must be careful not to spiritualize physical things and make physical things spiritual.

Avoid to say or practice things because you are told and not because the word of God spells it.

Sex is the highest point of our expression of lust for whom we choose to love. It is the highest point of fellowship.

Fools offer sex in exchange for money or in a bid to satisfy an emotional high or yet, when they have no self-worth. Even greater fools use sex as a bait to keep a spouse.

You don’t use your body to service a relationship; it’s foolishness. When you give it, you can’t take it back and it may continue to hunt you to needing more or give even more.

Someone recently asked me a question. It reads thus: Will too much sex with his spouse not affect a Pastor’s spirit and his fellowship with the Holy Spirit, since his mind will be clouded with thoughts of it? You’re probably thinking hard on this one.

Sex, in itself, doesn’t affect anything. However, the issue lies with thinking of it always and that is a sign you are getting carnal. Prayer, fasting, and ensuring to always redirect your focus in the right direction will help a great deal.

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Colossians 3:1-2 KJV

To always desire sex is to be carnal, but to be carnal doesn’t mean you’re sinning; it just tells that you’re fleshy or natural in your thinking. Even though carnality doesn’t define sin, it surely will lead you to sin if not properly dealt with.

Moderation is always important in all things. We must learn to apportion time for everything in our life. Place more priority on things that have eternal value than on things that only simply gratify the flesh.

Since we have such a huge crowd of men of faith watching us from the grandstands, let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back, and especially those sins that wrap themselves so tightly around our feet and trip us up; and let us run with patience the particular race that God has set before us.

Hebrews 12:1 TLB

For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit. Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever]. [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot. So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him.
