JESUS NEEDS YOU.

A couple of days ago, I took time out to ponder as I discussed with the Holy Spirit. I discovered yet the more that with the way the world is sailing, a lot more work needs to be done with the gospel. Many are yet unsaved, some are walking in error and falsehood, and only a few are actually standing for the truth like God instructs.

For this reason, we can’t fold our hands or seal our lips to watch many perish in the will of the devil. We must keep striving to ensure that the gospel thrives in every nation. In the city of Ephesus, Acts 19:20 records that so mightily grew the Word of God and prevailed.

God has called us unto all the world (Mark 16:15). Don’t perform too slowly that you eventually couldn’t do what you should.

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Matthew 9:37-38 KJV

If we would exert much pressure, preach all the time and use our funds to reach more people; if we would get more effective labourers to get in the harvest field of God, then we would be able to do more for the kingdom.

Our conviction is our fire and sustenance in preaching the gospel. How convicted you are about Jesus will determine your tenacity in upholding the truth and ensuring that many come to the reality of the life we have in Him.

Paul boldly declared that he is not ashamed of the gospel of Christ and admonished us to be partakers of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God. Don’t be ashamed of identifying with the gospel. Preaching the gospel is one major way to extend the love of God to many (See, Romans 1:16; 2 Timothy 1:8; Matthew 10:33).

Christ gave His precious blood for the world to be saved, and He will yet return for a Church without spot nor blemish (Ephesians 5:27). Hence, we must help more people find Christ and be established in the Word of God; that must be our primary responsibility.

However, it’s not the job for one person, but for all in the faith. We all must do the work of an evangelist and preach without ceasing nor season (2 Timothy 4:5; Acts 20:31).

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Matthew 24:24 KJV

Time is fast spent. Explore every approved means of the Spirit to sponsor the course of God. Maximize all social media platforms to preach the gospel; that’s your pulpit. Do you work in a secular space? Don’t get choked up with activities that you don’t find time to fellowship with God or tell someone about Him. Your sphere of contact is your soul winning space.

If we don’t work harder and strategic with the gospel, then the babes in Christ will be won into errors or to fakes.

Don’t preach the gospel to join the trend; preach in His will even if you will be the only one in the truth. Otherwise, you won’t strike a chord in the heart of God in eternity.

Listen: the gospel is not prosperity; Christ is our message. If the gospel is about getting rich, what will we preach to rich countries? The gospel of Christ is the need of both the poor and rich.

Join this plane today; hearken to the Spirit’s call. Partner with Him to ensure a massive spread of the gospel of Christ. Invest your resources, energy, and time for this course.

If you truly love God and are born of the Spirit, this has to be a conscious action. You will naturally, by the Spirit, get on the Lord’s business with undivided focus. You must program it into your schedule to ensure that someone hears about Jesus from your lips and by how you live your life. Be an agent of the perfect gospel of Christ.

As we do this great work by the Spirit together, we will be able to help many find Jesus and help many get built up in Him, and heaven would be well pleased with us.

Nowhere was it written that the heaven rejoices over a car you buy or house you build, but over a soul that is converted (Like 15:7, 10). So, while you try to make a living, don’t forget that God must be pleased with your life (Revelation 4:11). After all, when we leave this world, all that will matter will be what we did in line with His will for our lives.

Push the gospel and ensure it thrives around your space. Jesus needs you, and so do I.
